Thank you to all my wonderful and loyal readers (especially the "Boys [who] Do Bumps"---some of them anyway!!) who have asked for more photos. The old page is getting too crowded, and yet I was asked not to remove any of the old photos. So here's a new page!
And by the way, my photos are never photoshopped/retouched. What you see is what I saw!
In Antigua since the holidays!!! A new home there! Good friends visiting!!
Life is good!!!!!!!!
The craziness at Princess Juliana Airport (from Malo Beach)
Left Antigua for a quick stop in.......
My last look out the car window at my home as I drive from my front door to the airport.
April showers bring.....well, more year-round flowers!
Much needed rain the last two days!!! But it's getting time to leave....
Listening to the pan steel
I scored a few of the famous Antiguan Black pineapples. Delicious!!!
Going to be hot today! Morning coffee in the shade of the east terrace.
The neighbors. Not kidding.
Beautiful and remote Hawksbill Beach
Another day in paradise--Jolly Beach

Excited to have a new oceanfront home!

Thank you to my good friend Liz E.C.!!!!! What a lovely sentiment.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!!
Stacking wood warms me twice. Two cords=3 hours (beer included).
Sunrise
Lake fog.
NOBODY touches my kong-toy but me!!!!!
He gets so sad when other people are on the lake shore and he isn't!
Fall has come to our cove on the lake
Have a laugh-----this dishcloth got itself into a terrible accident last night! It had fallen into the garbage disposal, and idiot that I am all I could think of was, "Why is the disposal making that terrible noise"?
That mid-afternoon sun continues to just get lower and lower in the sky, even in early afternoon-----island in Casco Bay
Birch Island, Mussel Ridge------Camden Hills in background on this beautiful sunny day.
Sunset in Mussel Ridge--Red sky at night----sailors' delight.
Straight off the State of Maine quarter------Victory Chimes
Holbrook Sanctuary, Penboscot Bay
Record-keeping and journal-keeping
Schoodic Point
Thuya Gardens, Acadia
Beautiful Northeast Harbour, Acadia National Park

This is perhaps my favourite place in Maine, other than my own homes. Thank you Suzanne for your friendship!
Sorry for my long silence!!!! The sailing has just been so great here on the glorious coast of Maine. Here is a photo of last night in nearby Quahog.
Just had to post these pictures of Brown's Wharf Inn's gorgeous flowers this year.
Taking a dive in the cold clear waters. Hoping to avoid great white sharks.
My sweet little man loves his kong-toy when it's filled with frozen yogurt! I think it's so funny how he uses his "hand" to control it!
"Home" on my own mooring in beautiful Quahog Bay
Acadia National Park, from Little Cranberry Island
Back on the ocean after a brief pause at the lake. Ahh, sailing----the wonderful places that this boat takes me!
The children of our resident geese families (the goslings) are growing up! Such beautiful creatures.
Somebody doesn't like being confined to the porch when the lake is beckoning
Portland Yacht Club was not too busy, even on these hot days!
From the kayak
Absolute peace.
I am told that our cove is technically a "basin" of the lake. Either way, it's great.
It's not too often I feel this way!
He rests, after his big operation. He came through with flying colours!
No Corona virus in our lovely retreat in Maine's mountains
Things I miss: My extraordinarily talented gardener (and expectant father!), Junie, who keeps everything so green and beautiful. His wife Dionne, a certified teacher of French and Spanish in Antigua's public schools, is also a wonderful person (and an actual teacher, with a master's degree------not a Liz McCusker styling herself as "school teacher" without even a college degree)
Things I miss: My All-Clad collection!
Things I miss: The resident birds on my beach terrace
A few more pics before I leave this beautiful country: Half Moon Bay today
Sandals Resort-----so expensive and so awful What an ugly place! (and doesn't the groom look thrilled......)
But you've got to love this talented wedding photographer! First he does good hand-placement......
....followed by the obligatory "over-the-shoulder" gaze.....
...but my angle on things revealed why . I bet there's a pissed-off father nearby with a shotgun!
Reminiscent of what Steve McCusker told me about his own wedding, which contained a similar "bump".
Road hazards, Antigua-style
Falmouth harbour
Though within an hour it gave way to sunshine, it was like a monsoon this morning!!!!
Back to beautiful English Harbour today
Loving my "new" car!
I love the way the flowers just blow through the house. I don't mind picking them up off the floor, because it's so lovely to have them just come in.
This type of palm tree is new to me
A brief shower in Nelson's Dockyard
The wine is in the ice bucket, so all is right with the world
