I recently received a contact from a reader whose experience is very close to mine and the McCuskers'
This reader says:
"There is a lot of dissatisfaction with this Mediator, and in talking to others I now know that ours is not an isolated case. Please encourage your readers to file a Complaint, or at least an Exit Survey, on the Maine Mediation Board's web site."
[Regarding Judge Crowley's statements to me and the McCuskers that he would "scare" us into settling; and regarding the pressure to sign an agreement this gentleman goes on to say]:
"Similar scare tactics were used with us. We were also given the same end-of-the-day-hustle and signed under pressure."

He further says:
"We fear that our settlement will, in the end, be just as unenforceable as yours. We're going to be in court again, just as you will be. This somehow is GOOD for the Maine courts?"
