But I guess she enjoys reading our web page, which at least keeps our visitor-numbers up!
As Marjorie noted elsewhere in her book, and excerpted on this web site and in the depositions in this case.......
Looking at Liz's depositions, we see that Marjorie brought up the fact that the "Jack Hill" postings had the identical grammatical errors that Liz herself makes. Liz sloughed it off, saying that spelling and proper grammar really don't make any difference in life. We disagree with this.
Over 83% of employers now check social media sites prior to hiring. Particularly for a teacher, having a lot of social-media postings that show a lack of acquaintance with elementary (also known as "grammar" school) and middle school-level concepts of written English would likely not work in a candidate's favor. Isn't the teacher supposed to know more than the students? We also do not believe it helps the spouse of such a person, to have his or her spouse showing these kinds of mistakes for the world to see. That it's tolerated (or in Steve McCusker's case regarding the "Jack Hill" postings, actively encouraged) reflects very badly on the spouse. We wouldn't hire him, either.
A man who actively encourages his wife to defame another person, and who participates in that defamation as Steve did, is not someone we would hire, or would want out there representing our company.
Nor would we want a person working for our company who found it amusing to post that a former friend of 4 decades, one who was kind enough to loan him 5 figures, "smells". This is such a third-grade, juvenile attack. It begs the question of what Mr. McCusker might say about his employer, if he became unhappy with his employer. [It also begs the question of why he wished to sleep with Ms. Getz and introduce her to his son, if Ms. Getz's hygiene was so questionable].
Liz is a very prolific social media poster, spending lots of time each day on Facebook in particular. According to her husband, being on the internet all day is pretty much what she does. Wouldn't an hour per day studying English usage be a better use of time? So many other things to do on line other than attack an innocent creditor. Learn French. Study art. Study financial responsibility/budgeting. Learn to cook.
Before she left, Marjorie was contemplating the fact that Liz found this web site within 48 hours of it going live. IF LIZ WASN'T CONSTANTLY OBSESSING ABOUT MARJORIE, HOW IS IT THAT SHE FOUND THIS WEB SITE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF IT GOING LIVE???Marjorie felt, and we agree, that this is further evidence of Liz's obsession with her. Who constantly is on-line, searching for info about her husband's girlfriend of OVER 40 YEARS AGO [but now a creditor!!!] other than a stalker?
